Mesilla Valley Fine Arts Gallery to host two local ambassadors to the art world

The Mesilla Valley Fine Arts Gallery located at 2470 Calle de Guadalupe, across from the Fountain Theatre, Mesilla, is hosting two local ambassadors to the art world.  Ray Baird offers “impressionistic expressionism ” in his choice of rural structures and international landmarks.  Ray paints with translucent, complimentary oils to give his special touch to architectural and nature related subject matters that have endured over time.  Hal Fore is primarily an oil painter whose design strategy transforms his subject matter into realistic caricature subjects.  His road to art began with cartoons.  He has an extensive art background and was a Special Education teacher in Las Cruces.

In addition, there are 30 other artists who offer art in many medias to include original paintings, encaustics, infused glass art jewelry, handmade cards, stained glass, photography, affordable prints and miniature paintings.

Gallery hours are Monday-Saturday 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 12-5 pm.  For details call 575-522-2933 or visit our new website: http:ftp.zianet.com/mvartgallery/home.shtml
